For one academic session 20 students will be admitted in M.L.I.Sc. Programme based on merit Lists and following the norms of reservation in Jharkhand.
Seats shall be reserved as follows: SC 10%, ST: 26%, OBC:14%, GEN:50%, Physically Challenged 3%.
The selection would be based on the basis of merit list, academic performance followed by personal interview and verification of documents.
Note :
The admission Process is fully online. Submit the hard copy of the acknowledgement after submission of the online admission form to the department of MLISc, Please enclose photocopy and original of the following documents with the hard copy of the acknowledgement in the time of Entrance.
1. Challan of Form and Prospectus fee
2. Matric original/Pass Certificate
3. Matric mark sheecertificatet
5. Degree mark sheet and certificate from university
6. Caste and income certificate for ST/SC/OBC students issued from competent authority of Govt. of Jharkhand
7. Certificate of co-curricular activities, if any
Counselling of the shortlisted students will be considered in Library Science Department. Candidates should report along with their original documents, failing which their candidature will not be considered.
(It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that she possess the requisite academic qualifications for the course and is eligible in all other respects as per the eligibility conditions given in this s). The eligibility of the candidates will be verified by JWC at the time of counselling to the course. If the candidate is found to be ineligible at any stage during the entire process, the college reserves the right to cancel her candidature/ admission to the course.
Provision for stipend for ST/SC/OBC Students: There is provision of stipend for eligible ST/ST/OBC candidates by producing their income and caste certificate in the Welfare Dept. of State Govt. of Jharkhand.
Selected candidates may take admission by paying through e-challan
Admission Form should be submitted along with following certificates in the Department
1.Copy of the admission fee of e-challan
2.Attested copy of marksheet of the qualifying examination.
3. Attested copy of the original certificate of matriculation for the proof of age.
4. Attested copy of all certificate
5. Migration certificate of the university from which the candidate received her Bachelor’s /Master’s degree.
6. Income & Caste certificate(ST/SC/OBC). Issued from Govt. Of Jharkhand.
7. Four copies of recent coloured passport size photos.
8. College leaving certificate.
