Electronics has become an all pervading essentiality in our day-to-day life. While the design and application of the concepts are done by a few specialists, the task of multiplying those and maintaining them necessarily calls for enormous manpower, skilled to handle those activities. The College has been successfully running certificate / diploma / advance diploma courses in Electronics since 2005. Sensing the demands of the Industrial belt and Research organizations in Jamshedpur, the college in keeping with its tradition has taken a bold and committed step of upgrading the course to Electronics & Instrumentation.
The course aims at enhancing the skill base among the students who would meet these needs and become effective in shaping their own future and that of the nation through their learning and expertise in the field.
The Add-on course has been approved by the UGC and has obtained an NOC from the Government of Jharkhand. The Academic Council of Jamshedpur Women's College has approved of the course will be upgraded to Diploma and Advanced Diploma, to arm the students with higher levels of skills e upgradation of the course.
The certificate course may be pursued by those students already enrolled or due to enroll (session 2005-2006) for an undergraduate degree in the college. Students from all faculties are eligible.

Through Written Test
Experienced and qualified faculty from the academia and industry.
Theory and Practical classes will be held during college hours.
All classes will be held in the Department of Physics.

Applicants must submit the following documents along with the application form:
Proof of having applied for degree course in Jamshedpur Women's College (photocopy of admission form) for new entrants.
Those already pursuing graduation may submit a photocopy of their identity card.
Caste certificate for SC, ST, OBC, ( I & II)
Mark -sheet of I. Sc./ +2 examination.
The Certificate Course will be upgraded to a Diploma & Advanced Diploma course in each successive year.
